    • The breakfast were nice but the vegetirian option are not enough. Eg, there is NO plain congee. Staff were nice & tried their best to help. Overall happy with the service & alternative option for the breakfast. Room were clean & tidy & front desk staff were very helpful.
    • Professional and friendly staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful. The hotel is 2 minutes walking distance from a 24/7 food market, bus stops and 5 minutes from the Zhongshan Primary School tube station. It’s 30 minutes by taxi or tube to Taipei 101.
    • Rooms were really comfortable, very clean with comfy beds and were very well appointed.

    Cons -

    • NIL
    • Restaurant and bar seem to be closed during the winter apart from breakfast.
    • Pool was featured in listing but it was closed during our stay. This was one important search criterion for us, so we were disappointed.

Clean, spacious, and modern looking rooms. Lovely and attentive staff. Free self-serve happy hours are a nice touch! Location was perfect for our visit.

Hotel is in the city center. Around the hotel is a lot small markets as well as small night market. Hotel is close to the metro station. Room very clean, big. Every day housekeeping, clean towels, etc. Breakfast very tasty, maybe a bit too small portions but you can choose something international as well as local food. Hotel service totally fabulous; personnel was fantastic, very helpful, nice and kind. Highly recommended !!!

The location and service staff were warm and friendly

Nothing much to not like. To nit pick, the lobby and corridor could be more brightly lit.

    9RowenaPosted on: 1-8-2024

The location was good, walking distance to a small night market and a lot of restaurant choices nearby esp for breakfast. There was a small misunderstanding upon check-in regarding advanced payments but was solved quickly. Super clean rooms and very spacious. The bathrooms were great with a TOTO toilet.

The lobby is not representative of the upper floors and rooms, it seemed a little sad. But you will be pleasantly surprised once you reach your room. Bed was too soft for my liking but the rest of the family did not mind it.

Advantages:1) The room are consider as spacious2) Love the design at the toilet area, which allow couple shower while the other can use the toilet and brush teeth and etc.3) Convenience location, just about 3 mins walk to MRT.4) The bed and pillows are comfy.

Areas to improve:1) I have requested high floor zone with city view. However, the room assigned to me was 5th floor and without any window/balcony.2) The swimming pool was also closed during winter and i do not have the access for the pool.3) The gym was really small and without any weights machine and dumbells.

    5DaniëlPosted on: 1-2-2024

    Clean and location

There is no weight training equipment at all in the gym. You call it a gym, but only cardio machines! Not nice

The hotel is located in one of Taipei's old district with mainly residents area surrounding, nearest MRT station is 25mins walking distance, there's a night market within 2 mins walking where you can eat the local dishes and the famous bubble tea, there's a gym at the 16th floor with basic equipment, there's no dumbbell if you wanna weigh train, a bar at 17th floor serve breakfast as well in the morning & a swimming pool at the same floor, not manage to use the pool as they're closed during my stay.

This is a nice hotel, in terms of cleanliness, being modern and size of rooms but it’s just overpriced for what you get. Basic toiletries and services. Originally book the hotel at a guaranteed price but hotel decided to increase the rate on one of the day due to the local festive day, complaint to booking dot com customer service but not getting any reply they seems like ignore the complain. The breakfast is very basic - almost like what you get at a really nice hostel or basic B&B. So when you pay extra - it’s just pointless, better off eating outside. They are charging NT$404 per person to the hotel guest but they advertised to the public of NT$330 for 2 pax for the breakfast, informed this to the hotel and the hotel choose not to give any explanation. NT$404 is overpriced, there is niot much of food to choose from.Upon checked in requested a higher floor but was assigned at 5th floor due to higher floor is for their VIP members, you can clearly hear the noise from the traffic furthermore their rooms are not sound proof, as you can hear your next door neighbour clearly when they're having their olympic game (you know....). Hang do not disturb sign at the door but housekeeping insist wants to come in by using their access card, receptionist call in to confirm house keeping is not required & ask for a reason why it doesn't required, i just hang up the phone. This is ridiculous.Nothing against the Aloft group but will not recommend this particular hotel.

The small details are overlook, toilet door cannot close properly, floor corner is not clean

    Some rooms without windows

    9davidPosted on: 7-3-2023

Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was very modern and clean. Location was good. Close to MRT and a small night market.

    Not much of a view

    8Sima_zaPosted on: 1-31-2023

    Great location

Freezing cold room when we checked in. Went in winter and the room was colder than outside, at night. Took a long time to warm up too. We ended up having to leave the heating on even when we went out just so that the room wouldn't get cold again.

    10BenjaminPosted on: 12-31-2022

Friendly people, good situation not far from Zhongshan nightmarket also MRT station. Breakfast buffet was excellent with Chinese also Western food. I can say: Next time Taipei, next time Aloft!

Pool was closed, but I made sense due to the cold time, nothing against the hotel, I.e. there‘s nothing what’s negative!

    6WanPosted on: 5-3-2021

The location is close to MRT and plenty of food options around. The room is quiet per request.

Not all amenities are enough for the number of guests.

    9DorothyPosted on: 4-10-2024

Would wish to hv better pillows.

Nothing much to do around the hotel besides food.

    10WanPosted on: 8-17-2023

    Nothing so far

    8Aik C.Posted on: 3-21-2023

It was really clean and housekeeping it very thorough with their cleaning.

Bed might have been too soft. But that is a personal perference.
